TWO DAYS ONLINE FDP ON EMPLOYING NEW AGE TECHNOLOGY DURING ECONOMIC CRISIS COVID -19

   During Covid pandemic period, our Department organized Online two days “FDP on employing new age technology , Economic Crisis Covid – 19” handled by Dr.Rajah Jebasingh , Vice Principal and Research supervisor , St.Joseph College of Commerce , Autonomous, Bangalore & Dr.C.K.Muthukumaran, Associate Professor, Allagappa Institute of Management,Alagappa University, Karaikudi. Due to overwhelming responses, the participants were limited to only 100 to enter. Other state participants also got benefited through this session. The eminent Professors shared their views was very fruitful to all the participants and got encouraged by E- Certificates for their participation.

Online Competition During Covid – 19:

   During Pandemic period, the students are motivated through online classes by our department faculties. Various tests and competitions were conducted and elected those who have secured 100 marks for distribution of awards. Out of 25 students, 5 students were selected and appreciated by the price Distribution.

INDUSTRIAL VISITS:

Our students visited in RIPPLE TEA FACTORY at Monnar , Ooty. They came to know the process related to the production of tea and marketing availability so as to enrich their commercial knowledge to face this competitive world.

ONE DAY LECTURER

Our PG student was acted as a one day faculty in front of first year students about accounting procedure Dated on 24th Jan 2020.Ms Jayasri from II M.Com was taken seminar for first year B.Com students. 56 students were participated in the seminar. It helps the students to become expert in teaching skill.

NATIONAL LEVEL SEMINAR

The student from Department of commerce was attended National Level Seminar at Jamal Mohemed College Trichy during the year 2018- 2019 dated on 21 and 22.01.2019.This seminar was conducted by Department of Commerce. Around 15 students from UG and PG presented their talents and got the certificates.

OUT REACH PROGRAM

The student from department of commerce was attended in national level seminar in St Joseph College (Autonomous) Trichy during the year 2018-19.This seminar was conducted by Department of Commerce. Around 15 students from UG and PG.It got certificate by all participants.

AWARENESS ON LEGAL METEROLOGY COMPLAINT TRACKING SYSTEM

Awareness program was conducted by our Department Dated on 07.08.2018. The program was presided by our most respected Shri. A.Srinivasan, Founder and Chairman, of our group of Institution. Guest Lecture on Banking Practices
One day Guest Lecture was organised by our Department dated on 04.04.2018(Wednesday). The Guest Lecture was presided by our most respected Shri. A.Srinivasan, Founder and Chairman, of our group of Institution. The felicitation given by our Principal Dr.N. Vetrivelan and Vice Principal Prof. G. Ravi. The welcome was addressed by Mrs. R.Karthiga, the Head, PG and Research Department of Commerce & Commerce with Computer Application in our College Auditorium.
Our resource person Mr.I.KATHIRAVAN Assistant Manager, Indian Bank, chinthamani branch, Villupuram delivered a Lecture on Banking Practices. His lecture related on bank Examination (IBPS) and the regular practices such as Deposits ,Loans and Advances procedure in the banking programme.

For this arrangement, we invited Mrs.G.YASHODHA Assistant Professor of Commerce Seethalakshmi Ramaswami College (Autonomous), Trichy-2, who delivered a Lecture on ““AWARENESS ABOUT SPSS”. Her lecture was very useful to our student’s and understood by everyone.

INDUSTIRAL VISIT AT DODDABETTA TEA FACTORY

The industrial visit was conducted by the department on 14.09.2017 for this Doddabetta tea factory, Ooty were selected and visited by our students with the help of our esteemed institution.
In this the total process of tea production from raw material to finished goods explained by the expert of the factory responsibility and also our students clearly observed about tea products produced.

Impact Of Hrm In India

Our Department has arranged one day Guest lecture programme on 21.7.2017. The Guest lecture programme was presided by our most respected Shri. A.Srinivasan, Founder and chairman , of our group of Institution. This was felicitated by Dr.N. Vetrivelan, Principal and Prof G. Ravi, Vice Principal of our college. The resource person was addressed by Mrs. R.Karthiga, the HEAD, PG and Research Department of commerce and Computer Application of our College.

For this arrangement , we invited Dr.R.Swaminathan, Assistant professor, Rajah Serfoji Govt College (Autonomous) , as a Resource person who accepted to deliver the Lecture on “IMPACT OF HRM IN INDIA”. He delivered his wonderful speech about HRM in India. He explained about the role of management in human resources and gave many ideas to compete with the today’s challenges.

His views were very useful to our student’s and understood by everyone.

New Paradigm on Financial Market in India On 23.03.2016

Srinivasan College of Arts and Science, Perambalur. The Department of Commerce and Commerce CA organized a one day National Conference on "New Paradigm on Financial Market in India" on 23.03.2016. The theme of the conference mainly focuses on financial Market in India. The Indian financial market is largely influenced by domestic and international factors. The emerging global financial crisis prevailing China, Europe and other Western countries affect the Indian financial Markets directly and indirectly. The capital market in India witnesses volatility trend. This kind of instability the Indian financial market influences the economic behavior of small investors and business behavior of entrepreneurs. Therefore, it is necessary to design appropriate policies on Indian capital markets. To restore the same on its original position. This seminar paves ways for finding remedial measures to solve emerging unwanted situation in Indian capital Markets.

L-R Dr.R.Srinivasan Head, Department of commerce welcomed the gathering. Dr.N.Vetrivelan Principal of the college and Prof.G.Ravi, Vice Principal felicitated the conference. Dr.M.Venkateswaralu, professor of commerce Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi speaker was the Chief Guest and spoke on Indian Capital Market. He underlined volatility of Indian Capital Market and related concept. In the Afternoon session Dr.C.Paramasivan, Assistant Professor of Commerce, Periyar EVR College, Trichy acted a Resource Person and spoke on increasing importance of insurance and Banking in the emerging world. The emphasized on importance of Insurance and banking services and technology impact on banking services. The faculty member and Research scholars from various colleges and our college faculty members and students participated in large number and they cleared their doubts at the end of the conference Mr.R.Gopi, Assistant Professor proposed vote of thanks.
