The Department of Computer Science & Information Technology of Srinivasan College of Arts and Science have organized An International Webinar on Recent Trends in Databases and Block Chain Technology for Enterprises on 17th June 2020 through Zoom App. Dr.N.Duraimutharasan, Assistant Professor, School of Computer Science & Information Technology, DMI-St.John the Baptist University,Malavi and Mr.K.Rajkumar, Head cum Assistant Professor, School of Computer Science & Information Technology, DMI-St.John the Baptist University,Malavi was the chief guest respectively. Dr.N.Vetrivelan, Principal of SCAS & Prof. G.Ravi, Vice Principal of SCAS have felicitated the participants. More than 150 participants participated in the Webinar and the EE-Certificate have been provided to the active participants. The Department of Computer Science & Information Technology of Srinivasan College of Arts and Science have organized a Webinar on Outcome Based Education: A drive through via Google Meet on 15th May 2020. Dr. A.Parkavi, Associate Professor, Department of CSE, M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore was the chief guest. Dr.N.Vetrivelan, Principal of SCAS & Prof. G.Ravi, Vice Principal of SCAS have felicitated the gathering . The chief guest derived the Education System and the role of faculty to be adopted through the OBE. 2019 - 2020

The Department of Computer Science & Information Technology of Srinivasan College of Arts and Science have organized a Seminar on “Python and Machine Learning” on 16th August 2019. Mr.E.Pradhap, Senior Project Engineer,Pantech ProEd Pvt, Ltd, Trichy was the chief guest. Dr. N.Vetrivelan, Principal and Prof. G.Ravi, Vice Principal of our college felicitated the gathering.

The Chief Guest delivered the importance on Python & Machine Learning in the current IT Industry and also he explained the job opportunities of Learning Python. Around 100 students as UG & UG were participated.

The Department of Computer Science & Information Technology of Srinivasan College of Arts and Science have organized a seminar on Recent Trends in IT on 6th October 2017. Shri.A.Srinivasan, Founder-Chairman, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Group of Institutions presided over the function. Prof. B.MOHAMED FAIZE BASHA, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, Jamal Mohamed College, Trichy was the Chief Guest. Principal and Vice-Principal of our College felicitated the gathering. Chief Guest Prof. B.MOHAMED FAIZE BASHA emphasized the recent trends in IT Industry. He gave detailed presentation on recent trends in IT. He motivated and molded our students from his vibrant speech and also he clarified the doubts to the students. Dr.S.S.Manikandasaran, Director, Department of Computer Application, Christhuraj College, Trichy was the chief guest. Dr.S.S.Manikandasaran explained the topic of Cloud Computing and the importance of data storage and maintenance in the cloud environment. 2015 – 2016

The department of Computer Science & Information Technology has inaugurated its association on 13.07.2015. Dr. T.N.Ravi, Head & Associate Professor, Periyar E.V.R College, Trichy was the chief guest. He delivered the lecture on role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Seminar on “Mobile App Development” was held on 26.08.2015 Mr.M.Baranimoorthi, Director of Dhrti Info Pvt Ltd, Pondicherry was the chief guest. Mr.M.Baranimoorthi delivered the speech about the development of Mobile Applications in various platforms like Windows, Linux, Android, etc., Dr.P.Senthinathan, Principal has delivered the Presidential Address and Prof. G.Ravi, Vice Principal felicitated the gathering. World Computer Literacy Day was celebrated on 02.12.2015.Dr.P.Senthilnathan, Principal presided over the function. One Day National Level Technical Symposium CSITTECHFEST2K16 was held on 03.03.2016. . M.Senthilkumar, Head of CS&IT welcomed the gathering. Dr.P.Senthilnathan, Principal presided over the function. Seminar on “Java/J2EE and Career Growth” was held on 10.02.2015 Mr.Abdul Hassan & Mr.Mohamed Hanifa from Sree Soft Technologies, Trichy were the Chief Guest. Mr. M.Senthilkumar, Head of the department welcomed the gathering & Honored the Chief Guest. Mr. Abdul Hassan delivered about the scope and new technologies of Java and J2EE Platform such as Servlet, Jscript, JComponents. Mr. Mohamed Hanifa demonstrated the Job Opportunities of Java and J2EE Platform.

TECH KERBEROS ASSOCIATION of Department of CS& organized an one day seminar on “Hardware Brainwave” on 09.08.2013. Shri.A.Srinivasan, Founder-Chairman of this institution presides over the function. Dr.G.Vadivalagan, Principal of this college felicitates the gathering. Mr.M.Senthilkumar, Head of the Department, welcomed the gathering. Mr. P. Ambigapathi, HCL Technologies, Chennai was the resource person for this seminar. Mr. P. Ambigapathi explains that the system is built in three main layers: first a high-performance, distributed system architecture, and then a hardware DNN (Deep Neural Networks) engine synthesized onto FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Arrays), and finally a compiler and run time for low-friction deployment of trained models.
