Sports Activities 2021-2022

S.Muthukalaignan, a first year Master of Microbiology student from Srinivasan College of Arts and Sciences, Perambalur, competed in the 40kg category at the national level "Bangkok Slot" in Karur at March 5th 2022. He was won the bronze medal and also selected for national qualifying round.

K.Hinaya parvin & R.Logeswari from III B.Sc., Microbiology has placed 2nd Prize in Kho-Kho, D.Bhavani & E. Dinesh from I B.Sc., Microbiology has won 2nd place Kabbaddi at Sports Day, DS Group Institutions, Perambalur during on 06-21th May, 2022.

State level open karate championship

S.Muthukalaigan, pursuing his graduate studies in Microbiology at Srinivasan College of Arts and Science, Perambalur has been learning the Japanese style of Martial art ‘Shito-ryu’ since 2008. He holds the highest degree of Black belt and has been granted with certificate of training others in the field of karate.
He has got many accolades and as adding another feather to his cap he came 3rd in the ‘National Level Karate tournament’ held on 25th -26th August, 2018 at Mysore, Karnataka. This makes him qualified to participate in the International Karate meet to be held in Indonesia. Recently he has got 2nd place in “Black belt Open’ and 1st place in the “18 years belt” out of 200 participants in the ‘State level open karate championship- 2019’ held at Ariyalur on 5th January, 2019.
